Anyone not like FBL?

Is there anyone who has flown fbl and does not like it. I’m toying with the idea of converting one of my helis to flybarless although for my style of flying (sports / F3C) I’m unsure this would have any benefits,.

Fit a FBL unit mate you will love it, you will deffo notice a diffence! There are a few that don't like them but not many!

It's a different feel.... The only way to see is try it yourself and see what you think.

Very different feel, it's much more accurate then an average flybar system but also feels very digital to me, for stick bending stuff I still prefer a flybar for sport and smooooooth 3d I prefer a flybarless machine. I like them both in different ways.

Good question. I am trying so hard to find reasons not to go flybarless on my scale eurocopter. The only real reason i have left is I like the look of the disc when its flying,it stands out so much better than flybarless! Maybe the time has finaly come for a three blade head and a fbl unit?

I test hovered a flybared 450 pro for a friend yesterday and it felt very strange after being FBL on my 450 for a few months now

I wouldn't go back I love the precise accuracy of fbl too much

HA FLYBARLESS MY BOTOM!
Im new to this heli flying thing and i have recently purchased a secound hand Align 3g unit, wish i aint bothered!! So far the unit and sensor been updated like i was told to do, then all marked plugs put in to the right places apart from the giro, spartan quark seperate unit, then turned on lights flash in sequence as on the video. My cyclic servos work fine when sticks put to half throttle, good ok now to set the unit,m erm no movement on the cyclic servos apart from a jitter then nothing?? All plugs unplugge dand replaced in to specktrum reciver everything works fine. Ok re connect the 3g unit same no movement in the dir mode! HELP!!!!!!!!!! Cyclic sewrvos are hitec hs 65 mgs as suggested by a local shop and the tail servo is a Align servo any help would be nice thanks j.

I may be wrong but I didn't think 3gx supports analogue servos ??

My advice being a former 3G owner

Bin it and get a proper unit

As a newbie to fbl it's a total faff to get it working properly

I forked out for an AR7200 beastx
And set it up eeeeaasy

Even the cheap tarot and copterx fbl units are better imo

thanks for the replies. i have been told by 2 heli dealers the hs65mgs are ok for the 3g unit one was midland helis. So anymore help? like why dont the cyclic work wen inputting aileron or elevater inputs when attached through the 3g unit?? but the servos work fine wen not connected to the unit??

The 3gx only supports digital servos, summising the 3g is the same, the local shop really no there stuff
