If it does it on some batteries and not others it is the lipo. The end voltage for the 80% rule is around 3.80V or less. But that doesn't mean you are ok on load. Your batteries are not good enough or you have damaged them. You need to measure the on load voltage. If you keep using them you'll hit the esc cutoff. If you use the voltage monitor I think you will find they hit 3.6V very soon. Is the performance worse when it is colder? The Ir also goes lower during charge and stays low for a bit. It's the temperature of the lipos that matters and they take a long time to cool down. 3.86V is about storage charge (half way) so you are using about 1500mah in 5 mins. That would be 12X1.5 or 18amps. Your batteries should be ok at that current. Is it always the same batteries that give a problem? Have you always treated them carefully? They may not have been that good when you bought them. I'd eliminate the batteries first. It may well be something else but your problem could be caused by batteries.

It also sounds that the esc may be losing its setup. That's an easy thing to try, but it wouldn't fix itself and be no good on the first battery and ok and another. Helis are difficult to fix and substitution is often the only way.

According to the esc manual if one cell reaches 3.2 volts then it will operate at reduced power so it might be worth checking your batteries.
Here's the manual http://ms.align.com.tw/mpeg/manuals/...E-BL70G_en.pdf it's under battery protection option.
