  • Doing my own thing

Having just read a thread which I would like to have commented on but was closed so quickly that I didn't get a chance it has reminded me why i like to fly alone and has taught me one thing - which is I'll carry on doing my own thing. I am happy to just lift off and admire the bird defeating gravity thanks to me. I get time out in fresh air with no pressures. The farmer now and then stops what he is doing to watch what I do which in relation to some is absolutely nothing and having him as an audience is more than enough for me.

I'll carry on with nitro, will get a Gaui NX4 and I'll get enjoyment out of my Phoenix.

I know I would like to spend a little money getting assistance on some elements which I know are weak and it would have to be that and only that I would spend my money on but as long as I bring my Raptors home intact and feel pleased with what I do what else is there.

I like hovering and feel pleased when it is exact. I know I can park the ship in the air for the farmer to admire in his tractor but I do admire them that do all their fancy3D antics..................but it ain't for me!!

I'll land powered so I don't tip into a rabbit hole without using throttle hold and intend to do this into my eighties.
Helicopter pilots get it up quicker.

When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.

Why simplify when it is so much simpler to complicate.

Complete agree with what you're saying. The Heli is yours to fly in whatever manner you choose whether it be smack or extreme tail in hovering! As long as its done safely and you get a kick out of how you fly. That's the entire point of the hobby! Some people will strive for perfection and best of luck to them but for most it's purely for enjoyment. It is a hobby after all!
