  • Lipo Storage

    Hi All.
So going away for a couple of weeks and just change from a B606 to PL6 charger. The B606 default storage charge is 3.8v and the PL6 is 3.86.

Am I splitting hairs here or is one more suitable than the other for storage charge. Or should I check with the manufacture foe the recommended storage voltage?

    Cheers

      Splitting hairs.

I wouldnt assume that there is a real difference between the two.

I wonder if the specs are accurate to 0.01 V?...

Temperature is important. Keep as cool as possible. 10 deg C for long term, below 20 for two weeks. I'm fairly sure that the main thing is the combination of full charge and high temperature and a few months. Lipos change so much that by the time we find out which ones are good there's something better. A dead lipo means you will have permission to buy a new one.
