Im a member of Watford Wayfarers, but looking for some where else to fly weekends within half hour drive of Watford.
Dont get me wrong I like the field at Wayfarers, its hust a little bit of a problem to get to when the weather starts to get wet. I went there this morning the lane upto the bottom of the field was flooded in places especially around the gate area which made it very difficult to get in and once you park its a 150m walk to the grassed area in the centre of a field. But that walk is via a very muddy recently plowed path. Once there its a great place to fly, plenty of room, no close trees to hiot and never disturbed by noisy parser byes.
My car inside and out looks a little like i been of roading in it, which is not good for a 3 Series BMW.
Im just looking for some where that the access is a little better, must be suitable for nitro and electric.
