trex 550e 3gx .... do i need 2 sats?

550 3gx, will 1 sat be sufficient? or i must have 2? currently i got one sat just under the rudder servo.

from 500 size onwards you should use 2 sats and you may not mix DSM2 and DSMX

I can't think of any circumstances where I'd use a Spektrum based system with only one antenna.

The satellite may have two wires but they form a single antenna so if the satellites are your only 'receiver' such as with them connected to a FBL unit then I'd never use less than 2.

for the prive of an extra one more peice of mind and in the long run far more cheaper than a crash
or worse a lost model
