  • Some Night Flying Pics

With winter closing in and less time to fly in the evenings we have resorted to night flying at the club, some pics from our recent outing

Stuart, there doesn't seem to be a night flying section, can we get one please...thx

I'm sure I read some where that a guy had the align nite blades & the batteries were dead, so he mounted external lipo's.
I think it might be on here, way back in the main blades section.
                  Best of luck.

Never done night flying. Is it any harder than day flying? I guess a totally different perspective.

You know when it's a cloudy day or bad light and you struggle to see the heli because its just a silhouette,,,
Well from what I've seen if you get the right colour and led position, it's easy to see than in bad light.
If there's a few of you might flying together I would recommend using the same colour set up.
I had white on top and blue on the bottom of my blades and Choppaholic had the opposite, I watched him fly, then when I went to fly I kept thinking that I was inverted, any way I put it in.

Very good tip. Never would have thought of that.
Might get a setup if I get the time over winter. Most likely would be flying on my own as no real club here.

Are you making your own blades? Any tips how to do this. Fancy some night flying, have the led strips, but can't afford night blades at mo.
