    did a few years back and got me into a bit of trouble with work. Nowadays i have less time and i'm starting to enjoy it more and even starting to like nitro again, god forbid

      I think of it as a hobby though I do like to keep improving and trying new things. I do enjoy going flying with mates as well as that's half the fun. I'm at uni now and don't have my 550 with me as its my dads as well. Just got the 130x though haven't flown it yet.

      Flying with friends is one of the things I'm gonna look forward to when going home occasionally at weekends and for the holidays :P

        When I started I thought that if I could take off, fly a circuit and land close to the departure point, that would be me happy no need to progress further than that, so I never did.

          I think how serious you are depends a lot on your speed of learning at my age I have had to be reasonably serious whereas younger flyers seem to pick it up overnight, my aim is to be able to to fly a circuit relaxed at the moment i cant

              I've wanted to get into helis for years. Took the plunge properly late last year, since then I've got 4 550 or bigger helis and started importing them. Can't fly for toffee, but enjoying every minute, enjoy the social side, will make it to most of the shows next year mixing business and pleasure.
              Serious enough?
