  • Looking for a digital pitch gauge - any recommends/avoids?

    As per the title.
Need a new digital pitch gauge, are there any to avoid or any particularly good ones going for a song?

RC logger is the one everyone recommends.
    Got one and works great.

Is that logger 2 really worth £55? Or just bag the original?

I have used both. The only thing that I find particularly useful on the v2 over the v1 is the 5 second delay in zeroing the gauge. The rest of it is a bit of bling really. Leveling the swash? Well I reckon you can't beat a proper swash leveling tool and so the swash leveling ability of the v2 is a bit of a gimmick for me; as too is the ability to measure your tail blade angles. Overall, if cash is tight just go for the v1 but if you can get the V2 I think the way it zeros just makes it that much easier to use and so is sort of worth the extra.

RC logger 1 and the align ones are pretty much the same.
I have a bevel box and RC logger 2. Liking the 2 very much.

Cant believe Im saying this. I just upgraded my pitch gauge to the v2 from the v1 and its very good but the v1 does its job perfect. Get the v2 if you want all the extras it does and itd oes them very well.

I've got the Align one .. I'd buy the RC Logger! My align one seems to jump from 12 degrees to 17 if I've got it one way up but not the other! Also takes yonks to update.
