Just got back from a good flying session but had my tail blow out when I did a almost vertical tight funnel (nose up) What could of caused it? Almost lost the velo! Cheers.

Have you ever taken the tail gain up to the point of wag and then backed it off? The vbar will fly really well at low gain levels, maybe you have just exposed that. Unless you do the move all the time without blowouts I would look at that. Have you looked at the log?Mikes Place - Home of the golden dump.

Its happened before but now Im more confident in doing funnels tighter and faster its really starting to annoy me. I haven't taken it up to the point of it wagging yet as it flys brilliant so didnt think there was any point. Ive also heard putting larger tail blades on it might make a diffrence?
What should I be looking at on the log?
