tiny accident today!

had a bit of a problem today!
well as ive not used my raptor for a while now i thought id take it up on the hills and go through a couple of tanks!did a couple of circuits and brought it back down!landed nicely and left it ticking over turned round to put me gloves on when the revs suddenly wound up and it started getting light on skids so instantly hit engine cut on tranny but nothing,this left me with no other option but to ditch it! all i can put it down to is no charge in receiver battery pack!made a right mess of the field and the everything above the swash plate!my question is ,are the 30/50 heads the same and does anyone on here have one they are willing to sell me ?? hope so! not a good start to christmas eh

it does sound like an rx battery failure.pm martin(rcslopesurfer) he may have a nice metal bling upgrade for sale...yes i believe they are the same

I have a 30 for sale with os 37 ready to fly & a 50 airframe only with full metal head etc.
I dont realy want to split the bits off it.

No prob mate, I think the last thing that was said was I should take metal off & put on the raptor 50 & keep it.
Thats the problem in chat so many messages confuses the issues some time Boggy.

I think Andy is after a cheep fix £130 of quick uk bling isnt gonna be cheep enough I fancy

Plastic TT 30/50 head block with blue dampers and metal seesaw going spare here if they are any use to you.

But if you are contemplating replacing the whole head new, consider ording a kasama from z-rc.com instead.
