A canny lad!

Well, since moving to the borders, I have been left to fly alone, which I actually enjoy a great deal. However it's always good to fly with other people and yesterday I had my first chance when PlaneHazza made a great effort to drive into the sticks where I live for a flying session. A genuine and canny lad, so thanks Hazza for making the effort and I look forward to some more sessions as and when time/weather and family permits.

It's not all about flying and building, the social side of this hobby rocks as well!

Yeah the social side is just as important...half the time I go to the indoor sessions on a Friday night it's for the banter not the flying...same down the field, sit down with a brew between flights an put the world to rights...after taking the **** out of each other first!!

I love both sides of the hobby equally. Otterburn, I used to go to school in Bellingham when my Dad was working on the dam. Great memories

Thanks bud, Otterburn looks like a beautiful area, the castle hotel look amazing. I do love Northumberland!
