kontronik pyro 700-52 cracks in windings lacquer

i bought a brand new 700-52 and when looking at it i noticed that it had some crakes in the lacquer that covers the wires and a chip do i need to send it back and get a new one or ?

heres soem pics had to take them off my phone so there not the best

I'd not be that impressed by that TBH. Contact the retailer and see what they have to say. I guess the danger is that it could short and take the ESC with it...

To check if you have a multimeter do this

If unsure take it back.

After having the experience of a motor shorting and frying the esc along with a nice fire to blow out I'd say return it it may be ok but maybe it could turn dodgy over time.

Umm specially with the new 80hv I bought to go with it aswell I don't fact frying up 300 quid

took it back today and got it swapped so its all good now just me been petty now and noticed my 80hv has a dent in the heatsink plate haha
