  • Algn 2-1 regulator

    Hi all

Just a quick one.Are there any tell tale signs that its about to fail by which i mean for eg a large amount of battery power consumed with one(97% down to 74%) flight.
My Synergy N5(Fbl ar7200bx) started to act very funny this afternoon, nodding all over the place. It has been flying absolutly perfectly up till this afternoon.

    Any ideas

    Rob

Flickering lights is the usual sign of impending failure of the switch unit.

Large power consumption might cause me to look for a binding servo.

I'm not a huge fan of these when used with a FBL setup due to the 6A continuous rating, but I know people do seem to manage OK with it and it is supplied in the 700 FBL kits.

you can can get mini switches from maplins, or dismantle switch and solder across to be on all time and just disconnect battery for quick fix
