Never nice to see a model go in that hard but Ross took it on the chin. Its safe to say tho that it will be repaired & back at the site flying by next weekend as its probably his most flown model that logo 500 se a bad choice of words I know but it's his beater

Apart from the frames splitting i have just counted another 16 cracks in both parts of the frame in different areas, one tail grip is missing but the screw and all bearings are still on the hub, even the belt pully guides are mashed up, it really is nearly a complete re-kit.

I think its a stretched 500 Michal. It was well crashed once stripped down practically every part had damage!Except cyclic servos esc and motor!

That hardest model I've ever seen go in was Ronnies 550 at RCHA.

Full chat 12 degrees of pitch. Bam. Cloud of grass about 20ft in the air lol.

The frames are pretty cheap from what I gather? Under £20? It'll be the usual suspects of blades and canopy that push the cost up unfortunately. Hope it's up and running soon

Heh, just like my TDR 2 weeks ago, so I can feel the pain. although seeing frames split like that is a bit disturbing.

I dont know about privately but publicly Ross doesn't suffer pain! The guy just shruggs picks up the next model and flies,I dont know how he walks to the flightline he's got balls like coconuts! As we packed up last night he asked me if i had room to take one of his heli's back to the campsite as his van was full, after rearangeing all my gear and heli's for five minutes he handed me the asda carrrier bag!..classic Ross
