  • bouncing the head button

    Normally I fly over grass.
I soon expect to visit an old haunt with miles of smooth tarmac...

My rappy has the sort of head button that is on the seesaw, so it moves with the flybar.
If I touch the head button on the tarmac, will it immediately throw the cyclic and make it crash?

    It shouldn't do, no.
I'm sure I've seen old Raptor 90 vids inverted on the button on tarmac runways.
    Keep it light

    Cheers,

not sure how the .90 head is made.
You can get 30/50 head blocks with the button on, rather then the button on the seesaw.

Have you bounced the little trex450 Rob? Less clearance for the blades with an underslung head.
Bet you haven't bumped the button over tarmac with those v blades on!

This is really depressing, only time ive been near bumping the button is a head first dive into the deck
          All the best

I like my heli's in one piece and I'm not sponsored so have to pay for them like most people
So no - I do some grass cutting now and again (in fact I have a Vibe photo to upload come to think of it ) but I haven't flown on tarmac so I've never even been tempted to button it. Fields are just too lumpy

            Cheers,
