Glass Fiber Specialists

Hi Guys,

Does anybody know of a person/company in the UK who does glass fiber mold work? Can't think of any fixed wing firms in the UK anymore.. maybe some of the boat people?

I'm looking for somebody who will accept a plug and do the final finishing before making molded parts from it.

Can find lots of hobby related firms in Europe and the US but not having much luck in the UK.. only large industrial firms.

All tips and pointers gladly welcome

Myself and a friend have been making an F3C fuselage for the JR Vibe (Owing to the mechanics layouts it fits in absolutely nothing out there..). Having got the design done and the initial blue foam plug under way we really need a professional for the production of the finished article..

Will drop the above guys a line and see what we can come up with.

You could try these guys http://www.acefibreglass.com/ I know they have done loads of plane fuselages and also some heli ones I think and the owner Ian flies planks and helis too so he might be able to help.
