    BBC News - US astronaut Neil Armstrong dies, first man on Moon

    One of the reasons I started this hobbey was becuase of people like him.

          That's a real shame - one of my fondest memories was watching his moon walk all those years ago.

                  Bloody hell, that makes me feel sad..Some people are part of your upbringing, your childhood memories and are people you admired so much.
                  Feel the same as when Douglas Adams, John Peel etc. died - a real loss - strange feeling....

                      We think we are brave, doing piro-flips and tic-tocs on the ground...
                      Can you imagine strapping yourself to a rocket, flying 250,000 miles, using a pocket calculator to land, walking around on another planet, then getting it all together to fly back home?
