Pure alcohol, acetone or cellulose thinners should do the trick!

WD40 should also do it, deodorant works as well, non anti perspirant type that is

easy way - go over the line in permanent marker again and rub it off before it dries

I use permanent markers all the time at work and then use methylated spirits to remove!

On a smooth surface kitchen cleaner will shift it with some elbow grease. Other then that any solvent will shift it even glo fuel or petrol.

Pick up by ankle using right hand with outstretched arm held perpendicular to your torso, open window and manoeuver outstretched arm so it is on the outside of buildng. Release grip of right hand.

Safely removed, probably won't trouble you again, unless you live on the ground floor.

I keep a bottle of isopropyl alcohol 99.9% at home for such tasks. Works pretty well.
