So 'er indoors went for two weeks to france and Slovenia hang gliding while I stayed at home with our kid. (i'd been away in france hang gliding fir two weeks in July)
She met up with an old hang gliding friend of ours that we hadn't seen for 10years or more. So they had a meal together and he tells her all about his 700e and what manoeuvres he can do with it!
Small world.
She can talk hang gliding and model helicopters at home

I've only ever been up on a hang glider once. But it was off sugar loaf mountain in rio brazil. Clearly it was tandem but I'll never forget the words he spoke before the take off. " you stop running - we die".

Would love to do more.

It's a really nice flight from the launch at Rio to the Christo and back. Last time I did that I short packed the glider on the beach and was on the plane home a couple of hours after I landed

Pretty much the only good thing about the film Rio was that the hang gliding scenes were very correct I'm the equipment and geographically of the Rio flying site!

I was going to buy a hang glider 30 years ago, but the bloke wouldn't sell it to me, a novice, as it tended to nose dive a lot EEEEEEEKKKKK . Good job really, otherwise I prolly wouldn't be enjoying my helis today . I get nervous going upstairs these day lol, so my hat is off to you.
