So I've been kicking myself gently today having spent most of yesterday deliberating over whether to go for a Trex 550e or the new logo 500 combo. . . Overnight I decided to go for the logo, then went to order one this morning from Fast Lad only to have another crisis in the decision making process and spent another hour attempting to let forum threads make my decision for me. Finally called them only to find that the last logo 500 combo had been sold 4 minutes prior to my call(!!!!).

The good news is that they will have more in stock by next week.

I shall be twiddling my thumbs until then. . .

What was the second crisis??. Make sure you get some nylon bolts for the landing gear.

So it's a delicate little beastie huh? Makes me worry slightly as I'm not far past beginner. Perhaps the Trex tank would be a better choice. . . There - that's the second crisis of decision making. . . Still not quite made up yet. . .

I think what Paddy means is that with nylon bolts, they will break before the frames, meaning you save the frames and wreck the bolts when the crashes come

I know how you feel. Been waiting for my house to complete so I can buy a G4 combo. Been watching the stock at fastlads and now they are gone. House should complete by first week of September (fingers crossed.....everything crossed) so hopefully they will be back in stock by then. Just looked at building my own combo, but it works out too expensive.
