goblin 700 or V3 dfc 700e

Hi All in a bit of a dilemer I have the chance of an as new goblin 700 or for very similar money a new v3 dfc 700e, I currently fly 2 x 700es v1,s . I like the look of the goblin but worry it may be ferrari ownership syndrome . The Align i know will do what it says on the tin but how does it compare. I have read and read posts but all build posts go on about how good the machines are, so anyone owned both for a real comparison. Thanks Jason

i would go for the gobbler, for the look and you already have 2 x 700e, IMO

if you get the dfc without electronics at the same price of the gobbler i will defo go for the goblin

If I had Align 700's already it would have to be the Goblin.

Not owned a Trex 700e and for some reason I have never really been tempted.

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works, but I'd go for the 700E DFC. Having owned a 700E V2 and absolutely loved it, I now have a 700E DFC. Despite the one way bearing problem, it's an awesome heli. My club mate has just bought a Goblin 700 at the same time as I bought my 700E DFC. I've flown his Goblin and it flies very well indeed. There's a lot of things I do like about the Goblin, but there's a few things I don't like. But there's not much I don't like about the 700E DFC. It's very precise, accurate and more powerful than my 700E V2.

My other thought would be to put a set of hv,servos and a dfc head on the 700 sell the other 700e and get the goblin.

Had a Goblin have the 700E V3 DFC now,best decision to swap i ever made.

Have a 700E V2 also,wouldnt part with either of them now but the V3 is a better model .

Goblin outflew the V2 but the V3 is another story.

My mate bought it but has not flown it yet, How old was it there seems a lot of play in the links and the swash has about 2 mm of play in it or about 4 degree of pitch ? The paint on the cano is very good but the boom and the blades looks not so good, Are they all like this or was yours a very early one ? The alloy seems dull on the head and there were some small cracks starting at the base of the boom. I remember looking at the fast lad one at weston park before it got planted and did not notice any of thease problems.

How does the v3 fly better then the v2 is it just the motor and servo,s or somthing else ?
