definatly less gear noise with these puppys! Gov set at 1750 for now ,and not even a microns worth of metal specks to be found after first loaded run..so the superlube will now be playing its part in every flight from now on...

And it is "immense" to fly, if ya ever get the chance to fly an 800, it'll change the way you look at helis from that day on. Then of course there is the Ava 1000, that's a whole new level again.

2 6068 T6 Gears being made for tripper as we speak so he gets to crank up the harder compounds and we will see results from that in the not to distant future..and next month a couple of helicals will magically find themselves in my heli's for further field testing....boy i thought the spending was over...Oh right just remebered these are Heli's! ..now to coax that wallet out from under the sofa with a big stick!...i can see it i can see ..damn it just wiggled away...ok get the blunderbuss im gonna numb this thing!

I did say that word and they did used to do them but was way to expensive to be viable

G-day Gearheads

So after 2 Pretty hard flights in Idle up 2 with The CC gov set to 1750 full pitch climb outs and full negative pumps and elevator pumps for the full 6 min on the clock started to see ever so small ali flecks..that would be normal gear bedding in wear and tear and the amount thats there is totally exceptable for now..so in the next few flights as my testicles grow bigger with bravery ..things will develop...Im just not a stick banger pilot so cannot hit the gear as hard as it nees to...the pinion looks untouched and only really can see little silver specks....not sure will wash the gear down with meths and have a really close inspection with a magnifying glass..results to follow soon..

the part that i liked was the gear did NOT smash...and I can tell ya i planted that pitch stick againts the rim....the tail pulled out 30 degrees or so something ive never seen the v-bar do on my 800 yet..so it holds the power (the gear)..so we carry on counting flights now before we change something ...
