  • EC5 Battery Harness

Can anyone point me to the correct EC5 Y harness that I'll need to run two 6S in 12S config?

    Cheers!

Make it using the discharge leads on your ESC.

      Erin, not the best drawings!

Shame they have no stock. Would be tempted so I don't have to solder as I hate it with a passion.

+1 on Sacko's advice. On the Fusion I have one lead down each side of the frame and a bridge cable through the frame. I'll upload pics when I get home if you want. I try and keep my power leads as short as possible as it was one of the things Castle highlighted when the HV version 1 was catching fire.

                Here we go:

                EFLAEC507 - EC5 Battery Parallel Y- Harness 10Awg Wire

May be worth while phoning them first just to double check.

These are there for people who don't like soldering .

I do the series connection on the packs themselves on mine, makes the build a bit neater.

I do it on the ESC like the drawing above.

Dont extend your ESC cables if you can help it. Send me your ESC and I'll do it for you if you like as its the best way

Out of interest as I'm looking to make up a set too now I worked off the view that 6S packs are usually 12awg so if in series it best to use 10awg to take that voltage from both packs. But I've got 1/2 meter of 12awg wire here. Thinking still 10awg is the better option but wonder whats the norm.
                      Cheers

12awg is fine. I use it in all of mine..
