  • Blade 450 tail wag

    Hey everyone,
After some help. I have done a pretty thorough search on the forum and can't find an answer to my question. now i have started flying circuits with my Blade 450 3d i have discovered that the tail or rather the heli as a whole shakes violently on fast turns, this will continue for several seconds and altho i can still control it and it will die down after maybe four or five seconds it is bloody annoying!!! I've tried turning the gyro gain down, i'm now down to 74% from 77% in idle up but it hasn't stopped it. throttle curve is a flat 82 in idle up. Heli flys great in a straight line!!

I don't know the blade 450 but that sounds more like slop in the head somewhere rather than a gyro issue

Check play in the feathering shaft as I had behaviour like this once when there was up/down slop in the blade grips

Was fine hovering but any cyclic input caused a wobble which settled again in the hover

Ok so i have checked the head and blade grips and cannot find any slop there. The tail grips appear to have a little slop ( a real little) other than that i cannot find any other reason for the quite violent wag or shaking on fast turns....
