  • Spiral wrap for tidy electronics cables?

    Hi guys n gals.

Been looking for something to tidy the wiring on my Trex 450s and come across this spiral wrap which seems the perfect size. Has anybody used this to tidy up?

Yes i use it all the time, i get mine from als hobbies good stuff but only problem is when you have all the wires in them they become very stiff, but does look neat when done right

        I make my own....
Cut a thin strip from a cola bottle, wrap it tightly around a screwdriver or dowel, apply some heat with a lighter - this helps re-thermo form the plastic. Let it cool, et voila cheap unlimited source of spiral wrap

Don't like spiral wrap myself as it can cut into the wires. I use the expandable braid which is a little more labour intensive but looks neater and won't hurt anything.
