I was recently looking at a firends 500 which he bought second hand.
He had two sets of "3D" blades which are often found on ebay or from hobby king and the like at cheap prices.
There were cracks radiating from the bolt hole brass bush on two of the blades, seemingly on one in a pair that was unflown but we can't be sure of that - we are uncertain of the blade history. The cracks included some running 90 degrees to the blade length. The blades were mark free everywhere else.
We decided not to fly the blades!
