Perfect winters day flying

Come on then who got out there today (11th Dec)? It was absolutely perfect for winter flying - Blue Sky - Zero wind - Frost on the ground. I spent 3 lipos giving me 15 mins on each before I went into work lolol. Wonderful!!. Yesterday I tried my old Nitro heli but gave up due to carb/starting problems. Today I praise the lipo for such instant pleasure lol.

Had a couple of flights today at work with the 450se v1- had to cut 2nd flight short as after just 3mins, experienced mayor power drop and just managed to get the damn thing down, crappy fp packs,can't stand the cold weather, looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and get some new cells then, heard revolution cells are ok? or maybe the new tp extreme v2???

bah, go to work in the dark, come home in the dark. feel like a bloody mushroom seeing that at work we are treated like shit and always kept in the dark there as well.

Same here Leave home for work before it gets light leave work for home after its dark. and busy most weekends, god I hate winter.

got a big warehouse here but guess what this time of year its stacked up with goods. so cant even fly in there.

Did three tanks through my moskito yesterday and three batteries on my 450SE although the belt failed (luckily no damage).
Hopefully out today if time permits.

It's been nearly 3 weeks since I got to fly a decent heli.
