I've tried the KDS flymentor once for a buddy of mine and bought one for me but never put it on ... he was/is happy with it and I only put it on once to check its functionality ... £200 is quite bad - wonder what all went ... I would assume the blades are the most expensive parts, if servos go - if you are flybarless, you can repair them (£4-5 a servo) ... dont know what else went in your crash ... when mine went in I had less than £100 and it was a huge "rebuild" ...
forgot - if you are interested in a cheap one PM me ... if you want a real bail out I probably would consider the MSH brain ...Last edited by r4nd0m; 03-08-2012, 10:50 PM.Sev

If you've had a couple of months flying with no crashes as a new guy to helis them your doing well and I think a Co pilot/fly mentor etc would hinder your progress, keep the £200 as a slush fund to pay for your next crash and just fly.Synergy N5 -BeastX

HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : Flymentor 3D helicopter stabilisation System
go for it you can make it work with a on off switch so as long as your high you can switch it on when your lost to take over and hover it for you again (wont work with flybarless heli)
