just to introduce myself to the forum, keen modeller, not much I havnt built over the years. have r/c cars, tanks,toy helis, even built a boat recently.
did build a plane and had it flown for me, then sold it, bought parkzone trainer, couldnt fly that, so sold that.
to be fair on the plane front, just tried to learn the hard way.
So now helis, difference is, there are a couple of clubs a few miles from me, so lets do it properly and have some expert training.
done some research and come up with a combo of, blade 450,dx6i, pheonix flight sim. will look around, even if I have to build one.
i have a mcx which I still crash, but i am improving. (repairs get less each week).
I am in the process of building a house in bulgaria, where my garden borders a valley, and 1 neighbour behind me, so i could launch gliders from there.
It will be well worth me learning to fly helis and planes/gliders.
Banbury area, have located 2 clubs, one has just accepted helis but is mainly planes, the other does helis,has a shop and a small pond.
For the record I know heli flying is difficult,I have no illusions there.
will watch the" for sale" page carefully, and continue to go to the clubs.
good transmitter and flight sim priority.
