  • OS Bubbleless

OK so after no luck whatsoever with fuel magnets such as MOAS or OMI, I going back to a regular metal heavy clunk. I'm going to try the OS bubbleless but I see there are two versions:

    71531000 OS Bubbleless Clunk

    71531010 OS Bubbleless Clunk

What's the difference and which is the better to get?

    Thanks!
    Harry

    71531010 is the small one.

I'm using the 71531000 large one (I think the one most people talk about) in my Raptor G4.

It didn't fit into the tank without removing the rubber o-ring but after reading about it it seems this rubber ring deteriorates pretty quickly anyway.

I didn't like the idea of having foam magnets in my fuel tank and especially not after reading about them clogging up engine carbs..

Other than that I don't know which one to recommend, obviously it isn't much good if it doesn't fit in your tank but the larger one I would have thought would work better if you can install it.

Yeah I still use a header regardless of the clunk and I had a 50 cut mid flight (inverted I might add) due to running a MOAS - never again. Tank got halfway and the MOAS stopped drawing fuel. Couldn't empty the tank via the pump either. Thanks I'll go for the large one then. Heavier means it'll reach all corners easier.

Yeah I have heard sometimes people add weights to the smaller version, the larger model I have seems to pickup fuel just fine without any additional weight, but I am using a header tank as well.
