What have I done wrong??

Got my 700 e flying with an ALIGN BL700MX 510kv and a Castle Creations ice2 120HV, running the standard gearing with a 100% Idle up 2 curve. Using the Castle Creations link, it shows the max i can get is 2050 ish rpm. Heli sounds sluggish and not as I'd expect a 700 e to be like.

Oh, by the way, I'm using Opti 5000mah lipos, they are on their second charge. Any thoughts??

Yep Pauls right, you need to set a straight line 0-100 throttle curve in normal mode and redo the speed controller setup, so it can see your min and max throttle points, i had mine tach'd the other day at 2200 and still have more left if i need it

Go to your throttle endpoints.

Reduce them both to 50%, make sure you have a linear curve.

Move your collective stick up to full positive, then turn on the Heli.

You're now in programming mode.

Increase the high end until the ESC plays a little tune.

Go to low end with the stick, increase the endpoint value again until you hear the little tune.

Governed, you will get a max of 2050rpm.

As above,take blades off first too!.set +/-12 degrees of pitch.

Just set up the end points as described and the ESC bleeps at high throttle 95% at the lowest it bleeps at 124% Is this ok?

Should I just run it on Fixed endpoints and taco it?

Yes. The gearing limits you to 2050rpm, but it's fine.

So 2050rpm is my MAX with the stock setup? Should stick to Gov mode or get different pinion? What pinion would I need for 2150-2200rpm??

To add to Pauls very good post,it's recomended that when it plays the little tune you should go 2 or 3 more %.If you go back to do it then make sure you enable auto bail out first and then set the TH curve.
