Found a belt tail drive tailed old type trex 600 on Bmfa site, it's flybarless too, he wants to swap for a 500? I have no affiliation to this seller.

Yeah 100% I think buying a heli just for autos is a bit silly, any heli 450 size and above can do them properly belt drive or torque tube... Save the money that a cheap kit would cost you and put it towards spares for your current model. Let's not get started on the other problems of "cheaper" kits.

If you regularly do autos with a Trex 500 without problems , the Trex 600 will be effortless.
So often a " cheaper" heli purchased to just practise particular moves can become more expensive than you might expect. It can be hard to resist the temptation to upgrade airframe, blades, engine,exhaust or electronics cause its sloppy, down on performance etc.
