revo 3000s are at this point out of the equation, however, we believe the revo 6S 3200 will just fit and comes in at 500g almost on the button. Also the revo 5S 3200 will fit fine as does the 5S 4200. Given the interest in those 5S packs myself, Trev and raptorheli2 will be trying them all out and reporting back. As well as giving the 6S 3200 a go.

So whose got 500 pinions then?

the 5s won't fit either, however we think we have found a solution in the 3200 packs and there is a 3300 pack just released that is a little smaller and same weight, these will be avilable at the end of the month roughly.

done a bit of measuring with mike/ash this morning via skype and we think the 3200 will just squeeze in there on the top tray. 5s shouldn't be a problem in the 4200 or 3300 so mike sent me samples today to test, the real problem is with 5s is the availability of pinions for it just now. i'll call realraptors this afternoon and see how i fair with pinions.

Should have a set of the 3200 Revo's..2 x 3S here tomorrow all going well..Day Off so should be able to give them a go.

I choose the 2 x 3S packs so I can change to the 5S if I'm not happy on 6S by buying a couple of 2 cell Revos 32's when pinions become available..

which piion will you be using for them, when I flew mine with the 2100 I used the 12T

Arky..NO.. as it is a 2P pack. i.e 2 x 6cell 2100 packs.

The 3S 2P packs fit between the frames OK..very tight one direction but will go in.

Removing the upper tray will let a 5/6S in I reckon, but will depend on how the packs are built. You would have to come up with a little alternative thinking to replace the strength by moving tray around but should be easy enough.

BTW I may even do this for the 3200 setup to keep the C&G fairly high when I get a little time on it.

Arky..My thinking is to recess the upper tray a bit lower down between the frame a bit so the cells clear the canopy..Not sure whether I will keep it slanted/horizontal or some where in between yet..but think it could work nicely.
