    Cheers,

I think the angle of the shot makes it looks very close Rob..

Took another shot from a different angle, Does this look ok or should I move it..

    Symon.

Thats a very generous offer you made to Trevor, Well done..

    • From that angle, it looks better
I doubt it will be a problem - I just don't like having stuff too close to the gears - smack it in and they could chew stuff...
Just my way of thinking on this stuff I guess
      Cheers,
      Rob

Not exactly sure how to conduct this test and where the balance points are but here is my effort hanging from the flybar..

              Tail servo is Futaba S9257

              FlightPower Battery used in test.

First angle with blades front to back.

Second angle blades side to side... Sorry just did this while I had the heli set-up.

And fitted with canopy for what thats worth.

              • looks marginally tail heavy, unless the angle of the camera is confusing?

You are correct Ashley, Yes the tail is slightly down with this pack fitted.

1st Question: Is it near enough.

2nd Question: How do you counter weight it to level it up.

3rd Question: Will it matter for my standard of flying. (A long way from what you do)

                  • 1. yes, you can just trim it forward slightly.
                    2. glue/tape some fishing lead under the battery tray
                    3. Probably not, tail heavy tends to make a model elevator sensitive, with wht you have there I doubt you would notice. The forward trim to make it fly level would be noticed in an inverted hover as it would be the wrong trim now the heli is upside down. Also inverted flight it will nose up all the time.
