    • Chaps,

Nice one for putting the time in to show us this information and videos for the Trex 500. I know for you it is a new toy but I also know how much time it takes up just to produce all the info and put it up onto the web.

      Nice one dudes!!!!!!!!!!!

Can I have a go now?

      Matt

PS. Have you autoed it yet? If so whats it like?

      • No Probs, Ash's done most of the hard work, I just had to set it up and fly it . There will be more videos tomorrow if I can make it to Ash's site. I've changed a few bits here and there on the settings so it will be interesting to see what it feels like.

Bob's done an auto I believe, I'm saving that for when theres a few more spares in the country . Any comments Bob?

I'm knackered and I've still got over 80 build photos to edit and post

          • Hi Trev

            ------------------------------

Couple of auto's actually, it's not bad considering the size of model and my sloppy servo's.
I was able to put it down where I wanted to first time and control the glide, with the 450 SE you just have to come hammering in and plonk it down, this is in zero wind conditions and a field with a roughish surface so I had to be sure and accurate with it.
Still no real reserve but you wouldn't expect any with this sized model in zero wind, aerobatic auto's next then I think!

            Cheers
            Bob

                    • Doh, forgot to check! It had 27% left in the pack when I put it on, but I just put another one on charge literally 30 seconds ago!

                        • 1.727Ah added to the pack after that 4 minute flight. That's the 2nd flight those packs have had so they'll still be running in.

                              • just like to add my thanks for your work Ash and Trev, however I can't forgive you having a model when I can't get one

Well done, i'm convinced now its more a model to suit me than the 600 would be at this time.
                                All the best
