A little thing called work gets in the way of me building it right now.

Lucky for me mine is coming from Southampton (I assume she lives in the same city as she works), some of the birds over there are smokin. Shame she'll be delivering a heli which needs building...Priorities...

I went home ill, so I'm gonna drop it off to Ash and let him build it whilst I get some sympathy (yeah right)...

How do you get on flying so well then Trev?

I'm getting a lot of problems with my hands at the moment and find often it's impossible to fly for more than a minute without losing the feeling in my fingers on one or both hands. I'm still not fully sure yet what causes mine but I do know I gave up riding bikes a few years back because of similar problems. I don't use a keyboard or do repetative work so I'm not sure mine is RSI...

I can really sympathise with ya smoothound I really supper with the vibration on bikes and with cold weather.

present bike ive got is one of the best ive ever had the vibration is next to nuthin. cold weather still messes me up though

based on what I saw tonight the kit is really nice, nothing was a bad fit. I'm not completely happy about the plastic used, it felt a bit soft when screwing in some of the screws, it's very rigid and strong but I'm thinking you could easily strip a thread if you went in too heavy handed. Aside from this minor point it's absolutely lovely, the rotor head is superb. All metal gears for the tail belt. Thrust raced head, it's totally a miniaturised 600. Didn't find anything in the build that was 'wrong', bad fitting or not smooth running. Can't wait to fly it.

About the RSI stuff, I just manage, it hurts but ho hum, no whiteness in fingers, just swollen at the moment with pins and needles and a fair amount of pain...

I'm currently installing all the radio gear pending servos (due tomorrow hopefully) into the rex 500 that Ash kindly built for me today, should have her flying tomorrow .
