Buddying- Can a DSX9 and DSX11 Be Used Together?

Hi All,



As title really, i have a DSX11 and my friend has a DSX9, can we connect these two transmitters together via a buddy lead and buddy each others flights?



I've read that the settings cannot be electronically transfered, so will have to be put in manually, but will the buddy function still work?

the buddy lead will work ok just set the 11 as master but you wont get full 11 chanels on the 9

What's great about the DSX11 is that you can assign only the channels you want to the DSX9. This means that you don't need to set up the reverses etc etc in the DSX9 as it is in your DSX11 if you have the trainer mode set to "program" (or something like that- it will be obvious if you look at the trainer page).

Now regardless of the reverses, swash mixes etc the only thing you need to do on the DSX9 is adjust the trims to equal the DSX11s travel adjusts, and DR / expo .
