  • Disappointing after sales service from Probuild Aircraft LTD

    I purchased an mcp-x from them on the 24th March 2012.

    Since then I've been trying to contact them via e-mail and phone but no one answers the phone and I've sent at least 3 e-mails.

    I don't think I'll be using them again, a shame as they have a nice website and some cool stuff on there.

      Sorry to hear the aftersales is very poor! Website does seem good so you would expect the aftersales to match.

      This is where the local hobby shop is best, where you can pop in and speak to someone face to face

        I had a YS56 off them a few years back - the conrod broke within a few flights - sent it back, they told me I modified it and that they wouldn't sell YS to the shop I bought it from anymore let alone replace it for me. A few weeks later I got a shiny replacement. God knows? Other purchases I have used them for have gone without a hitch.

          Makes you wonder why these places have poor or non existent customer service surely they must realise that they will get a poor rep on forums like his a loose customers. Weird

              It does seem strange why they would have such poor customer service especially considering this is a very specialist hobby and they sell some extremely expensive models!

              Not sure I'd be spending £3,000 with a company that won't answer their phone or e-mail!
              Not that I have £3,000 to spend on a model mind you!

                Poor show really. Ah well! There's plenty of other places that will happily take your money AND answer the phone

                  Customer service is always the number one thing no matter how big or small your order is.
                  Most stores lose sight and forget who made them as they get bigger.

                  Best customer service i've ever had with any store has to be Raj at Align-TREX, He's a great guy and always willing to chat to you if need be.

                        +10 to that really great bloke they are very helpfull never rushing to get off the phone excellent postage times an most importantly he keeps stuff in stock unlike some others.
