When you are applying throttle is anything happening to the heli at all?

Blades spinning, swash moving up / down?

Sounds like pitch/throttle curves arent right? Can you put throttle hold on and then move sticks around. Check you're getting blade movement. I can hold mine, apply throttle and it wants to pull your hand in the air,

Can you post your radio settings?

A lot of people have had problems with the mcpx having to much negative pitch fresh out the box.

Carefully remove the links to the swash plate and wind them in two complete turns. Give it a try and report back.

I think he is trying to get started with the Dx4e first.

Have you checked that the main gear hasn't slipped down the main shaft. I had the same thing and this caused the heli to only lift about 1 inch off the ground as most of the pitch movement was being taken up by the shaft moving upwards. There should be no vertical play in the main shaft at all. If there is, just pull off the main gear and push it back on firmly making sure the slit is in line with the flat on the shaft.
                  Hope this makes sense.
                  cheers,

                  Mick

Oops, sorry, missed that bit. I'd spend more time getting the dx6 up to speed. Not that hard to get it programmed.
