I imagine it would, SaneAdam. I've got a 450 size and a 500 size quad and they are great fun and take a lot of wind (especially the GPS enabled F450) and can move at a good clip. They kind of purr when they tear by but sound like a bucket of angry bees when hovering. They are expensive although no more than a Blade 450X My GPS enabled one is closer to a 500's cost, gulp!

Big ones are fun (quads that is - ok, quadCOPTERS!!!). Is my mind working overtime? Nah, of all the things I've lost it's my mind I miss the most!

Ross, you'd have to check it out yourself but I think the RTF version comes with that transmitter you mentioned.

They fly in ACRO mode so only use four channels (unless you have other functions that can be controlled remotely, not the case with the MQX). My F450 uses 6 chanels, four as normal then one for IOC (Intelligent Orientation Control) selection and the other for Return To Home, GPS Enable and Attitude mode.

It ships with the MLP4DSM which is the cheap game controlled style tx.

From memory DX4e ships with the RTF mCP X, but it really isn't much use for anything else so it isn't a radio worth getting if you plan to fly helis in the future.

I was going to get one but after having few flights of them the novelty for me would quickly wear off.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

Just in the interest of balance, remember that a brand new DSMX/DSM2 DX6i will only cost you £69.99 + postage.

If you consider 2nd hand remember to ask if they are the newer DSMX/DSM2 version or the older DSM/DSM2 version.
