  • Lazarus off his sickbed.

Got Lazarus' parts from bladehelispares today. Needed a new landing skid and the tail was behaving badly with a red hot motor.

Got the longer boom and fitted that. Gave him a test flight and even in a hover there's a difference. Gone is the slight, fast wag with the sound of a crippled bee and in comes a tail that holds very nice. Well pleased.

All I need now is Junior's parts to arrive tomorrow and he'll be up off his sickbed.

    Vikki.

    Excellent news

Is it just me or do you strip broken heli's too??

I'd rather see them as several piles of parts than looking sorry for themselves

No, I get the parts and fix them

He had hidden pain A split in the tail boom, a tail motor that got very hot and a broken skid.

Plonk him down just right and he looks like he's chillin' and watching the telly.

Always good to mend a sick heli ... my 450 decided today was the day for a dirt nap ... pinion managed to work loose and slipped mid-flight ... had no chance being a beginner (still) and in it went ... minor damage ... might even be less than £10 (excluding the parts i already had on hand) ... would have been about £35 otherwise (mainly blades)

        Keep up the good work

Surprising how cheap they are to fix really. Mind you, I've not dropped one real hard yet.
