  • KDE boom supports

Im killing boom supports regularly and have tried regluing/pinning/making sure joints are clean before gluing etc.. but im getting fed up with doing this what seems like monthly.
Any 3D pilots here using them and are they worth the money?

I got some pins from a tool shop called canons http://www.cannonsltd.co.uk/ they are kind of ribbed and in a c shape , about twice the diameter of the align pins. Having really good results by drilling out and pressing these in. Can't think what they are called. The will post out if your not local.

I use the KDE boom supports. There is no chance of killing those... unbreakable. How are you doing in so many boom supports though?

I assume you are talking about align Tony? Adam, I go through them all the time on my 600 and 700, they just wear out where they are fixed at the ends.

Well you defo will not have that problem with the KDE ones. The fixings are bomb proof. Very heavy duty

Yep align, they last about three flights then i have to pin them. They last a couple of months after that but ive just had to redo my Raves boom supports too after about 20 flights. was hoping they would last as i would have put some on my 700
