I originally used the E-Sky HH Gyro, Ok but not great.

I currently still use the standard esky servos and have replaced the tail servo with a Hitec 65 with Karbonite gears and also I am now using the Logictech 2100T gyro on it.

Is a stunning upgrade for £70ish pounds

In fact I was so impressed with the 2100T that I got fung to swap the GY401 for the 2100T in my T-Rex 450 SE V2 bundle and alos I bought another for one of my other heli's.

I think the frame hole might be a bit on the small side for the Hitec servos but if you get the carbon frame you can file the holes carefully to fit the servos and in fact that is my plan shortly.

Please bear in mind that I have only been flying since July and can Hover tail in and move around a bit but not nose in yet so my advice above is only my opinion.

Personally I'd upgrade the Gyro and tail servos and leave it at that if your not much better at flying than me.

    Hope that helps.

    Heres a picture or two..

nice one. my first mod was this, i removed the black paint from the skids and tail boom.

my second mod is yet to be tested. i have rearranged the bearings, totally different to the manual and i think ive sussed my problem. the head is now very stiff but moves completely smoothly. i have ditched those rubber washers too.

where you have the rubber washers i put the bearings in there place instead, they fit perfectly too both width and depth. does anyone know if ive goofed up here because my tracking is now perfect but is this gonna damage it?

I put some T-rex 450 rubber washers in the head on mine. Also that's a carbon boom, removing the black stuff would be a tad tricky......

so does the feathering shaft and blade grips need to be stiff but spin easy? or are they supposed to have some slack and play in them cos thats what mine was doing?

Well I did mine up so that if you pull on them theres no play but they spin easily.

well the old one and my new one are the same size etc so i presume so.

i just had my first crash, its very windy and dark but i just had to test it. i lasted for nearly two packs and it was very stable even though the tracking is way off again but i went low and cockily hovered over a plant pot and they totally disagreed with each other lol. broke one blade and a couple of links. im curious to know how CNC would have stood up to that crash.

anyway yes ive tested it and the problem of tracking has come back. on the ground the blades look perfect but in a hover they are way way off even though the head is solid and smooth. this is using two different sets of blades. trying to adjust the blade pitch using the pitch links is a joke, this is badly off. im sick of spending money chasing the problem.

I know what you mean, Thats why I bit the bullet and upgraded the heli and I now use Align 315 blades and it tracks fine.

The standard Belt CP is notorious for poor tracking. You get what you pay for etc.

just ordered the CNC upgrade. i hope this works. btw would you or anyone recommend the esky HH gyro? ive heard good and bad reviews but the last one i read said they are good as long as you set them up just right.

Its ok but I splurged and got a Logictech 2100T, MUCH better. Read the forums at Heliguy and see what you think about the Esky one. Oh and see my earlier post in this thread.

If you are using the Align blades you will need a spacer, these can be cut to fit http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/prod...oducts_id=1915

my belt is still standard at the moment and flys ok (fast 8s and circuits etc). ive got the cnc head and tail parts and the esky hh gyro but im not going to fit them untill i get the rest of the parts which are - esky carbon main/tail blades and paddles, full carbon frame, all the other cnc parts that dashik has on his, hitec 65 tail servo and the airwolf fuz.

im going to keep flying it how it is untill i get the rest of the upgrades.

did you check the link out to the feathering shafts. that digi measuring tool says they are 0.02mm thicker than the standard esky shafts. sold in 20s for all that crashing you are doing ;0)
                            cheers
