  • To hot to fly !!!!

As I'm sitting here in Rome Italy where I live thinking about flying my new 550e, I'm also thinking that I cant bare the heat !!!
The other day I went to the field and after just 1 pack I was sweating so much I had to call it a day.

So my heart goes out to all of you that are in the UK with 22 degrees and flying in between rain showers

    Ciao

Think of it as watering the field

Hmm, well atleast you got a pack in. I havent flown for 3 weeks due to work, wind and rain.

There is a window of about 2 hours developing on xcweather in the West Midlands on Saturday morning. Now i just need to not have a hangover!

45 degrees here in the desert......can't stand out in that for too long!! Don't think there'll be any flying this weekend due to sandstorms though.... We all have bad weather - just different sorts!

How does your models cope in the desert heat?

Beautiful outside now, waiting for my packs to charge

The models cope just fine (T-Rex 600 & Mini Titan) - except for the MCPX which really cannot cope with the thermals and so is up and down like a yo-yo! Biggest problem is the starter for my nitro over-heating and losing the ummph to start a .50!
