2, Lovely to fly, undoubtable the best flying 30 size heli
3, Large Fuel Tank, long flight times
4, Easy Maintenece, loads of spare's available and not expensive like everyone says
5, Easy Upgrade (only realy need engine and mount, blades and clutch pinion) to 50

    Cons

1, Weak Side frames ( yet to be proven to me )
2, Atroucious stock exhaust supplied with kit
3, Its a 30 and allegedly under powered
    4, Noisey Gear Train
5, Genuine Hirobo upgrades are Pricey

    Ikarus Eco 8

    Pros ( ????? )

2 You don't have to fly it with lipos

    Cons

Yeah, where do you want me to start....
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

    And a DX8 too

      Is that it?

Is nobody else prepared to put their comments on the table?

Shame if it is, as I don't think there's enough here yet to combine into a meaningful document.

          Good man.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful to those who have contributed already, it's just that I'd hoped for several different people's opinions on the main contenders (i.e. Knight, TRex, Raptor, Blade), so that I could produce a combined document containing a "what the site users think of this heli" type of thing.

Like I said before - feel free to add your thoughts on helis that are already listed, and even add pro and con points that have already been listed for those helis - if two/three/four people say the same thing about the same heli, then it only adds (or takes away from) that heli's general consensus amongst fliers.

                  Hurricane 550 Price approx £300

                  1 comes almost fully assembled
2 when bought from Flying Hobby only Tx and Rx to add
                  3 Uses cheap lipo's
4 Good hop up from 450 size, flies in most conditions
5 Good aerobatic trainer for the new pilot

                  Cons
1 Parts have few suppliers ( but they are good)
2 Supplied canopy is real pants
3 Needs a good gyro for aerobatics
4 Can't think of any more

This heli moved me on from basic circuits to loops, rolls, stall turns and flips. All done 2 mistakes high which I could do because of the size!!
Knock it all you like it has done the trick for me and i would reccomend it to anyone.
