  • E-Flite umx geebee R2??

    does anyone have one of these? i'm about to order one but wondering what it is really like.

    I don't have one but have seen a few articles that say that they are nails to land. Have to keep the speed up on landing or it will drop a wing and go in nose first. I think there is also a non-scale version that has slightly bigger wings so it handles better on slow approaches.

      is this the umx or geebee in general?

      the geebee without the umx is defo an expert model. i have a 1/4 scale geebee racer to build but i like that UMX one for a mess about.

      the UMX is meant to make the geebee pretty managable.

        As above, i watched a vid of a seemingly pretty competant pilot come in to land for it to tumble nose first down the strip... look on his face was a peach!

          again, is this a UMX you are referring to?

          landing it really doesn't bother me. they always land in one way or another!

            I have flown the UMX gee ee from e-flite with as3x its very good flies bigger than it is very stable for a umx will also knife edge and fly in mild winds if you fancy it go for it there good!
