Yeah, it's shit. Trees bending here. Incoming bunch of post recommending to "brave" it.

I wanna get some more loops and flips done, I don't mind a bit of wind but I think it would be suicide to put the 450 up

Get on the sim, really it helps a lot. Wind will eventually die around mid October I'd highly recommend to not to go out with a heli, if it would be relatively stable 20 mph breeeze it would be ok, but it's gusting to 40 mph then going back to around 20 just outside my house.

Time to dust off my windsurfing kit

I just crashed the 450 all because of wind and really long grass. Wind forced it lower than I wanted and couldn't get out as grass had it. I did have fun for a couple of batteries though. Royal fecking pain fixing it again!

Took the N5 + GAUI out this morning, it was bumpy at times but other than that didn't really notice the wind too much.

Glad to see you haven't chucked in the towel completely, by your own admission, you had fun. Just hope that fun tranfers itself into fun fixing and then more fun staying in the hobby .

you don't need a bigger wallet
                        as it will be empty
so you need a smaller one to put your cash in (or lack of)

I choose not to fly when it's like this, not because I can't but cos I just don't enjoy it ! Even with the 90 I just find it puts me on one and can't relax
