Hi
Need some help guys, it's a long story but i have had about 6 differing incidents with my 450 X since buying it in march, it's had the AR7200bx changed twice by HH (one was definatly faulty, the other they just changed to cover all bases, A failed bec on the E flite ESC (upgraded to Savox servo's and it seems the internal bec cannot cope)
Now i decided after the last incident i was going to make damn sure i had control over the heli if the worst happened (when the bec died it went straight in close to where i was standing, with no control at all, hence dead bec)
So i fitted a Hobby Wing 40 amp esc, hobbywing 10 amp switching external bec, and TM1000 telemetry. all good, i can monitor everything.... Had around 6 flights since this upgrade, till today and the second flight! Everything normal ie rx voltage 5.8v and steady, and pack at 11.1v at the time of the incident.
I had carried out some flips, and loops etc, a few up and down the strip FFF, then came into nose in from the left(hover) at around 100ft away, and 40ft up. all of a sudden the heli just rolls left and stays there, then starts to drop???
Th hit and you can guess the rest..
Telemetry reports were all good at min 5.8v for rx, and 11.1v for flight pack, no signal loss.
on finding the heli which came down through a tree , the only damage apart from a few scrapes on the canopy was a ball link popped inside the ball on one of the swash to blade grip links. could this have caused this? or is it more likely to be crash damage?
Sorry for the long post.
