Many thanks to Midland helicopters for the great advice over the phone. I eventually chose the 230s and got a great deal.
also decided to see what its like to fly fixed wing so bought a cheap foamy and an orange rx with stability control
The puller i thought was for the little brass gears on 130x motors etc. looks like it could pull the hub of my car steering wheel lol.

got an align work towel to stop the missus having a go when i am working on the table.
